This Saturday, July 18 Team VI went to the 12 Voltz Recession Jam.  Showing for VI were Mike B, Tony D, Tony M, Ryan, Dawn, Henry, Chris Q, Josh D, and Dan R.  Coming in support was Dan, Lauri, James, and Nikki. It was a long day.  Some of the members met up early in the morning and rolled in together, while others met up at the show later.  After everyone was all set up and cleaned, they all took shade the best they could for the remainder of the day.  The show has a nice DJ that was there to play music the whole day.  The show also had a group of models, which Team VI got many pictures of on their cars.  Also at the show, the AMP truck was there giving out plenty of free drinks for the day. There was a DB drag at this show, Tony M participated and hit pretty hard.  After a long, hot day it was finally time for the awards.  Team VI took club participation with 9 showing cars.  Mike B took 1st place in Import Mild, Tony D took 2nd place in Import Mild, and Ryan took 3rd Place in Import Mild.  Tony M took 1st Place in Domestic Mild and Dawn took 2nd Place in Domestic Mild.  Chris Q took 2nd place in Domestic Wild and Josh D took 3rd place in Domestic Wild.  Dan took 2nd Place in Truck, along with Best of Show.  Overall this was a nice show, and Team VI did very well.
