This past Saturday Vivid showed how much we mean business this year by
showing their stuff at the 1st Annual Central Baptist Church Car Show
held at Kenwood High School. VI showed 21 members and taking 8 trophies
aswell as Club Participation. The day got started at 7 am in a good drizzle,
cloudy, cold day. I made sure it was still a go by checking Kenwood and seeing
them setting up in the rain, so I went and called all the troops and had them
meet up at Toys R Us. We rolled out of there at 9 am and headed to the show, still
raining. We all waited until the rain stopped and started setting up. The Sun came
out a few times, but it was still a cold & cloudy day. Some of the local clubs there
were Sudden Impact, Full FX, Street Illusions, Hook it Up Performance, Modern Image, Flexspeed, & Beyond Control. There were just to many people there in support and showing for us to name one by one. But, in the end, I took 1st place, Tara took 2nd place, James took 1st place, Vince, in his first show as a member, took 2nd place, Jo took 2nd place & C.B.C. choice, Lauri took 1st place, & Liz took Best Detailed. As a club we took Club Participation aswell. It was just a little peek for everyone to see how we are going to compete this year. Our next show is Toyz with Noize Car Show on April 10th. I hope to see everyone there!
