This Saturday V.I. split between CD Audio & Performance Car Show and Smooth Impressions. Showing for VI at this show were Danny, Tony D., Tara, Liz, Paul, and myself. The day was really hot to start out, when we were cleaning our cars and they ended up having just enough time to judge the cars. The rain came pouring down, and for a while we sat in our cars. They had a sound contest, which no one in V.I. entered in. Mel, Wendy and Mike came down from their show in Crozier, Va. for support a little after it started to rain. Since the rain was pretty bad, they moved the show down to their store (CD Audio and Performance), and everyone crammed into their store. They then had all us of move into their garage, which was a lot more roomy. Finally, awards came and Liz took a trophy in Top 8 Mild. Way to go Liz!! They were going to have a muffler contest to see who had the loudest muffler, but that was canceled due to the rain. The lighting contest was going to be done by driving through the garage and turning on your lights. We were going to participate, but had a sudden change of plans. V.I. all left and went to Dan’s house for his fourth party this summer. Overall, another successful day as V.I. added four more the trophy room, with Liz, Mel, Mike and Jo all taking home trophies. We hope to see you all tomorrow at the Tweeter S.L.A.P. show!!
