This past Sunday Vivid showed up at
the Cruisers Unlimited Show at the Mars Supermarket
in Dundalk. Showing for V.I. were me, Tara, Paul,
Tony D., and our soon to be new member, Lauri, with
her Jetta. The show was attended by a whole lot of
Hot Rods, Antique Cars, & our Street Cars. With
V.I., was Sudden Impact, who took Club Participation,
Low Class, Full F-X, Exotic Phantasys & many other
local clubs. This show was mainly for the Hot Rods,
but still had space for all the newer cars. All the
cars, were hot, hooked up, & great to look at.
The classes for the cars were somewhat broad. They
did not have the traditional individual classes but
had large groups of cars in each class. For example
our class was 1970 and up and this made it very difficult
to win. Still, we prepped & set up our cars for
the show. The day was hot, sunny, & perfect for
a show. We all got together, hung out, took pictures,
and enjoyed the day. The winners were mostly classic
and historic cars like we suspected. However two cars
from sudden Impact did win. There was some good competition
and we are looking forward to the shows to come. Afterwards,
we hit up Denny’s for a bit of grub, then to
my house for the meeting. Next week is the Carlisle
Custom Compact Nationals, the most anticipated show
of the year, the one we have been waiting on all off
season. I hope to see everybody there & hope to
bring back lots of plaques. Good Luck to everybody
next week and see you all Friday!
