The Funk Master Flex Show was a great show for many reasons. It gave our club a chance to get away and relax a little and party a lot. It was a very nice show and had a very good turnout. The classing was a bit limited but it was about more than just walking home with a trophy. This show brought our club closer to some other players in the import scene as well as gave us a last minute opportunity to get the word out about our car show.

Vivid Images had 11 cars showing that weekend. Seven or so were indoors while the rest held up the outdoor show. Unlike the June O.C. Show the two areas were counted as one show. They did not have separate awards for both venues. This made it a lot tougher on the outside guys. However they got to be in the nice weather all day!

Speaking of weather VI enjoyed the sunny days and cool waters as we relaxed on the beach, soaked in the sun, and walked up and down coastal hwy looking for the next party. We took over the “high quality” Ocean Voyager hotel with 6 rooms. We stayed the weekend and enjoyed every minute of it.

Overall Vivid Images walked away with one award. Congratulations goes to Lauri Morgan for her win in the Best VW class. This was one of her few indoor events for the year and she looks forward to many more. Thank you for all who showed with VI including Shawn, Artie, Jesse, Tony M., Sang, Justin, Jaime, Rob, Frank, Ray, Erin, TJ, Dan, Kristen, Melissa, Alex (his wife and kids too), Elvin, Tina, and any others I may be forgetting at the moment. Also congrats to all the other clubs and cars at the shows and we will see you the rest of the season.
