This past weekend V.I. hit up The Haunted Mill in PA. Attending this “Trip of Terror” were me, Wendy, Tina, Elvin, Matt, Matt G. (my brother), Henry, Lauri, & Dan. We started our journey from Toys R Us leaving at 6 pm. The trip up was going just fine until Mapquest screwed us again and put us in the middle of PA. somewhere. On top of that we, got split up. As Wendy and I stuck with Dan & Lauri, the rest of the crew fell way back. So we waited a half an hour for them to catch up in some parking lot in the middle of nowhere. Somehow it ended up right down the street from The Mill. So when the rest met up with us we were back on the trail. Come to found out while we were split up good ol’ Matt, our “Cat” car, decided to hit a cat. But, don’t worry the cat lived, but with one less paw. So, we finally arrived at The Mill at around 8:30. We bought our tickets for the grand old total of $225.00. As ranking officer I held onto the tickets! Ha Ha! So we started our journey through the 5 different events starting at the Dark Zone, then to the Creepy Corn Walk where we ran into Jess, to the Terror Trail, to the Mill, then finally to the Haunted Hay Ride. The best part of the night was were the Monster in the Terror Trail scared everyone but me. I happened to peak around the corner and see him scare everyone by surprise and I decided to keep my mouth shut about it. When we got up to him I turned around to look at everyone & when the Monster went “ARRRRRRRRRRR” all 8 others about shat themselves. I laughed for hours. He was so not expected that the girls just had to give him a hug & a high 5 from me. The best attraction at the Haunted Mill was Elvin, that is right, Elvin. Not only did he keep scaring the girls, he scared the actors. Though at one time in line for an event, Elvin blessed us with his dinner! He honestly had about 40 people in line covering their noses. It was bad! I referred a stomach doctor to check his insides out. There were plenty more memories to list, but I would be here all night writing about them. So, for all who didn’t go, you missed out on a hell of a time. We will definitely be back next year!
