What
a way to end the Annual Ocean City Trip by finishing
it with a Car Show. All you can really say is "Ain't
no Party like a V.I. Party 'cause a V.I. Party don't
stop!" As me,
Wendy, Mike, & Tony got on our way home from a
wild & crazy weekend in O.C., we had to make a
stop at Frontier Town to say goodbye to Mike's Grandmom.
As we parked in the lot of Frontier Town, Tony jumped
out of his car like a "Bat out of Hell"
screaming "There is a Car Show". Well, of
course we just had to attend, even without our set
ups or trophies. With only 30 minutes to get there
for registration, we were at least 45 mins. away because
of traffic. As you all know, nothing gets in our way
of a car show. So, we hauled it back to O.C. to 123rd
St., in & out of traffic, on & off Coastal
Highway, trying to miss all lights & traffic possible.
Finally we made it with about 2 minutes to spare.
At the show, we cleaned the cars with what we had
in the 98.6 degree heat & sun. Almost killing
ourselves, we got them done. Showing for us ended
up being me, Tony D., & yes, finally, Mike since
they had an Under Construction Class. The show was
not much, but there were some great looking rides
and the judges as well. Why the judges? The judges
just so happen to be the Hooter's Waitresses! The
show was short which was good because we still wanted
to get home and rest up for the following day...Back
to Work Day! In the end, I took Best Interior &
Tony took "Bling-Bling" Shine for his Immaculate
Cleanliness of his car. I guess we can't bust on Tony
for cleaning his car so much anymore. It paid off
on Sunday. After the show we decided to stick around
for just a bit longer because you all know, "Ain't
no Party likea V.I. Party 'cause a V.I. Party don't
stop"! We stuck around at Hooter's to enjoy some
food for the ride & some Hot Hooter's Girls! After
our chow, we packed it up again & headed home!
Next weekend is our split show day between Richmond,
VA. & the Edgewood Show. I hope to see everyone
at either show!
