This past Sunday, Vivid attended Kenwood H.S.’s 2nd Annual Car Show that finally got underway after 2 cancellations. Showing for V.I. were me, Mike B., Tony D., Derrick, Tony M., Liz, Paul, and our newest member Amber. The day was sunny and hot and quite interesting because of some former members of V.I. in attendance. Former members Craig, J.R., & Nicole, who started their own club called “Beyond Control” were there with their cars right next to ours. I guess they miss us since Nicole rocked a V.I. shirt, thanks Nicholas, I mean Nicole, for the advertising! Since this show was a “Vote for me, Vote for you show” we got on our horse with no hesitation getting votes. When we finished our voting and handed in our ballots, a certain someone almost lost all his votes due to a mix up on car numbers, but it didn’t matter anyhow since he still took 1st place. During this show, V.I. also had members at the M.C.A. show as well, another split show day for us. That show will be in another article, be sure to check it out! In the end, I, Tony D., Tony M., & Liz all took home 1st place trophies in our classes. Derrick & Amber took home 2nd place trophies in their classes. It was a great and successful day for us. Next weekend is the T & B show on Saturday and Audio Connections show on Sunday. I am looking forward to another 2 show weekend. I hope to see everyone at both shows!
