This Sunday Vivid Images attended the MCA car show. It was the second one VI had attended this year. Showing for VI were Mel, Tony D., Tara, Damon, James, Justin, Tina & Elvin, Jo, Derrick, Alex, Matt, Mike (with his Hummer) and our new friend Henry, an interested member, with his 1999 Ford Cougar. For support were Danny, Me, Jess, Jen, Jessica, Little Baby Ryan, and Alex’s Kids. The day was very long, but the weather wasn’t too bad... it was a pretty good temperature unlike all the hot days we’ve have. VI had a large number of cars showing, and at last minute Derrick came in with his car, and we convinced him to show. He didn’t have the expensive 35 dollars, so VI pitched in and took 35 dollars out of our account so he could show. Then, you wouldn’t believe how dirty his car was!! So all the members of VI and our friends all got together and worked on cleaning his car. In about 15 minutes the job was done, and his car looked great. Awards took forever for them to come out. When they finally announced awards VI came home with quite a lot. Bring home those big four-foot trophies were Mel, Tara, Tony D., Mike, Matt, Damon, James, Justin, Elvin & Tina (who actually came home with a five foot trophy), Henry, and Derrick (thanks to all the great VI members who all got together and helped out. We actually got a compliment from another car club saying,” We have about 100 members, and none of them would ever do this for anyone.” Way to go VI, we had another great weekend. Next weekend we have another Advance Auto Parts Car Show on the 18th! I hope to see many VI members in attendance!
