This show was mainly for Hot Rods &
Street cars but they had a section for what they called
the “Ultimate Imports”. Due to inclement
weather a.k.a the Blizzard of 2003, there were few
but hot imports there. The show went very well and
I brought home a first place trophy for Late Custom
Compact. I still don’t understand that class,
but it was what they put me in. The Hot Rods &
Street cars were really awesome to look at. Some cars
there were left for dead in the early 30’s but
made into the hottest machines around. Check out some
of the pics to understand what was really there. There
I met a few members & officer from a Delaware
club called Delaware Style. They too are hosting their
first show this year and I promised them we show up
and help them out. It was a short weekend but good
show. Thanks to all the members who showed up in the
blizzard to join me down there. Our dinner night at
the Dough Roller was especially fun when I seemed
not to be able to keep my soda on the table, some
of it which was Mike’s fault. That night some
of us partied at Mike’s hotel room and had a
great time, sorry to all who missed. The show was
great to have Vivid representing since no other local
club was there. That is one thing about Vivid Images,
we show at all shows no matter where they are. We
go places no other local club, no matter how popular
they are, shows at. It was a great way for me to start
my show season up with a first place win. See you
all in the next one.
