Vivid Images Hits The Beach
June 30th – July 7th, 2002

For anyone who doesn't already know, Vivid Images has started a tradition in the making. We stayed at the Santa Maria Hotel on 15th Street and the Boardwalk. With the beer in the fridge and the cars parked next to the Boardwalk, we headed out for our first night of chaos. We checked out the sights (GIRLS), the sounds (GIRLS), and the tastes (GIRLS.... uh, I mean BEER). My three main goals of the week in Ocean City were: Check out the girls, Hit the clubs, and Drink some Beer. With only 7 days to accomplish these tasks, I needed my fellow Vivid members to join in the fun or there was no way they would all get done. Jr and Mitch became our unofficial scouts for ladies (Don't worry I kept them in line :D ). We definately got our fair share of girls to chill with. Second on my list was to hit the clubs. This task was a bit harder to accomplish. A certain someone *cough* Vice President, put up some resistance at first but we won't mention any names. Finally after about three nights into the venture we went out to our first club, H20. I personally opted for UNDERGROUND because of my more techno interests in music but I was there to make everyone happy so I settled for H2O. I must admit it wasn't bad. The girls were nice but scarce. More of a sausage party then anything else. But luckily we ran into some past friends and hooked up later that night. Just about every morning we hit the beach because of the perfect weather all week. When we met up with Zach and Amanda we started up a football game that didn't last too long. We had some nice food at the Mug and Mallet while a trio of Vivid members hit the high notes to Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love" and scared the waitress.

The week had too many memories to list, but they are one's that I'll never forget. Times like this make me glad I'm in Vivid because it has introduced me to some great people and new friends. Here's to one summer, raise your glass for me at the next party.

Peace,

Craig
