2nd Annual O.C. Trip
July 3rd - 6th

They were very cool folks from Shippensburg, PA and were always more than willing to lend there rapid alcoholic consumption contraptions to the fine people in VI. I am not sure why but Matt “sticks out” in my mind as one of the most memorable of the three. Actually I remember the reason now and that is because he did exactly that “stuck out!” Not the most pleasant sight for the men but probably quite pleasing for the ladies (or it appeared quite pleasing). Well what night in O.C. would be complete with out a naked swim in the ocean provoked by peer pressure and broken promises. Our first night at the beach was one of the most memorable and exciting nights in the history of VI.

Day two was just as fun as the first. We started the day out with a nice filling breakfast served by the infamous “sugar.” Some of us then headed up to the room for a foot numbing bathroom break and then we were off for a relaxing time on the beach. Some of us tanned and some of us just burned evenly. We spent some time in the shriveling waters of the Atlantic Ocean cooling off from the hot sun. After a few hours we packed it up and ran off as fast as we could avoiding third degree burns from the painful sand. We did our “I call shower first, second, third….” routine got cleaned up and then headed across the street to Higgins Crab House. Everyone hit up the all you can eat crabs and shrimp except for Tony. Crabs are a much too complicated food for someone who repairs military vehicles for a living. Following dinner some went back to the room for a cleansing while others headed to rescue Alli from her over heating cavalier. Me, Tony, and Kendall went to help. We did a quick check on the car to find out that she had a busted hose. We parked it, locked it up, and headed back to O.C. to meet the others for a challenging game of Ice Land miniature golf. We were a few minutes later then the rest of the group but it turned out that you could have a max. of 4 people per party. We finished up our games, painfully added up the scores and then we were off to the Ocean Voyager for another night of non-stop partying. We purchased just the right amount of sustenance for the night ahead. We finally got back to the room and we started to “shake our bodies like a snake ma, we shook em till they didn’t break ma!” The night unfolded just like the night before with naked swims, kissing, touching, and ended up with a nice sleep in the tub. We all enjoyed our short but long trip in O.C. and those who attended will never forget the time we spent together. Everything went as planned and it was exactly what some of the members needed to get away from our busy show schedule.

Next year we plan to extend our time in O.C. and I am sure we will be back before the summer is over. Scuba Steve would like to thank everyone for coming down and contributing to our trip.

Special thanks to Mel, Moe, Tara, Wendy, Kendall, Alli, Tony D., and Mike.
