This past Sunday V.I. attended the 2nd to the last show of the year. It was Jimi’s, a member of V.I., car show. Showing for us were me, Tony D., Ray (our newest member), Jo, Tara, Tina, Jimi himself, Matt, & Henry. There for support were Wendy, Mike B., Lauri, Dan, Elvin, Jen M., Little Michael, & Liz. This was our 45th show of the year so we were all a bit burned out at the show and a lot of the cars there we seen 45 times this year. Though, there we still some cars & trucks there we have never seen before. There was a hot ass Mustang there with Lambo doors, first one I have seen. A lot of trucks with air bags, that also were in the Adjustable Suspension contest, & some great looking cars. Some of the other clubs there were Full – FX & Cartoys. The show came to a point where some us just had to do something other than look at cars, so me, Tina, Mike B., Elvin, & Tony D. went to go play some catch. At awards time V.I. cleaned house! I took 1st in Import Wild, Tara took 2nd in Import Wild, Ray took 3rd in Domestic Mild, Tina took 2nd in Domestic Wild, Henry took 1st in Domestic Mild, & as a club we took Club Participation. Next week is the final show of the year for us, our 46th show of the year. Thank God! It is at M.I.R. and it is the Import vs. Domestic Car Show. Some of us are taking the weekend off and going to Deep Creek, MD. So have fun & see you all next weekend!
