This Saturday was a double hitter for
car shows. Luckily enough, VI is large enough to be
at two places at one time. While the majority of the
club attend the annual Eastern Tech. H.S. Car Show...
I decided to show solo and represent V.I. at the Street
Illusions C.C. Car Show. This was a benefit show to
raise money for the local little league football team.
I had a great time. Being the social butterfly I am...I'm
never alone. A couple of my friends from the MCA car
club were in attendance. Mike from MCA was showing
his sweet black Corvette and Shawn, the club's president,
helped me clean my car. What a gentleman! About couple
hours into the show, I had a surprise visit, Mike
and Justin from VI who came to check on me and say
hi to some of their friends from other clubs. Bear
of Bears Tattoo Den was present with his PHAT Avalanche.
You have to see it to believe it. He also donated
$100 to the little league team. Way to go. Hyper Intentions
car club was present. Speed-FX was also there doing
their thing with graphics and aftermarket parts. I
don't know who was working the grille, but I had the
best Pit Beef sandwich ever... my compliments to the
chefs. After the Eastern Tech show ended, I had more
visiters from VI. Mel, James, Tony D. and Wendy. We
enjoyed some food and waited for awards. Congratulations
to Hyper Intentions who won the club participation
award and to me for bringing home a 1st place for
Import Wild. It was good day.
