We would also like to thank everyone that came out and showed especially those clubs that helped us out. A special thanks goes out to Sudden Impact, Exotik Phantasys, Full FX, Hoop Rides, Street Illusions, Hyper Intentions, Nice Dreams, and all the others that brought their teams.

Well let me start off by saying that we woke up thinking that the rain was going to wash the show out but fortunately the weather held out and gave us a beautiful day. We had sun shinning down on us the entire day. Frankly I was so hot by mid-afternoon I was praying for rain the size of cantaloupes. However we were prized with a wonderful day for what turned out to be a wonderful show. We arrived at Golden Ring promptly at 7:30 am anxious for the day ahead. I made a few trips to here and there to get all of our stuff to the show. We got everything in place for the registration table and our vendors began to show up along with our DJ, E-Phat Sounds.

Now it is around 9:30 and we already have a handful of cars. Paul and I are running around looking for extension cords and a cooler and I get a call from Jess back at the show and she tells me that our generator was not strong enough to run the DJ’s equipment. I make a timely trip to the Home Depot and rented a $3,000 generator for a low cost of only $85.65. We finally return to the show to see that while we were gone we got another 20 cars. We jump out get the cords and generator in place and get ready for more registrants. It is still only 10:10 and we have a good number of cars.

As the day went on we got more and more registrants. The right half of the parking lot was filling up nicely. We were trying to keep the hot rods and the newer models separated but as they came in we had no choice but to mix them. We quickly ran out of room and began to fill up the other side of the lot. Our DJ was mixing it up all day keeping the crowd and show-goers happy and the food was going as fast as we could get it on the grill. We had to make repeated runs for Hot Dog Rolls and soda. We ran into a slight problem with parking due to the construction going on in the other parking lot of the school so we had to move them and shift some cars around but it was a minor detail. Rosedale Vol. Fire Dept. had a nice set up as well bringing up the Medic and Special Unit as well as Station 16 bringing up the Engine. The dB contest was off the hook and everyone seemed to enjoy it, especially because we let everyone that wanted to just come up after the competition to see just what they could hit.

There were just to many memories to really list during the show. So in closing, we just like to say “Thank You” to everyone who helped out and attended the show. We look forward to having everyone back next year!
